"Nightbreed" is a 1990 horror-fantasy film directed by Clive Barker. The movie follows the story of a troubled man named Aaron Boone, who is haunted by vivid dreams of a hidden city populated by monstrous creatures. When Boone seeks therapy with a psychiatrist, Dr. Decker, he is wrongly implicated in a series of gruesome murders committed by the real serial killer, Dr. Decker himself. Boone eventually discovers the existence of Midian, the fabled city of the Nightbreed, a group of misunderstood and shape-shifting creatures. He joins them in their struggle for survival against the humans who fear and hunt them. The film explores themes of prejudice, identity, and acceptance as it unfolds a dark and visually stunning world of monsters and men.
