Trick or Treats (1982) is a dark comedy slasher set against the backdrop of Halloween night. The film follows Malcolm O’Keefe, an escaped psychiatric patient, who is determined to seek revenge on his ex-wife Joan after being committed to an asylum years earlier. Meanwhile, a babysitter named Linda is tasked with watching over Joan’s mischievous young son, Christopher, who continually plays pranks on her with various Halloween tricks. As the night progresses, the pranks give way to real danger as Malcolm closes in, blurring the line between harmless fun and true horror. The film blends suspense, humor, and dark thrills to create a chilling and quirky Halloween experience.
