The Hollow (2004) is a modern reimagining of Washington Irving's classic tale, The Legend of Sleepy Hollow. The story follows Ian Cranston, a high school student and descendant of Ichabod Crane, as he reluctantly returns to the small town of Sleepy Hollow with his father. Ian struggles with his identity and fitting in at school while grappling with the dark legacy of his ancestor. When strange and terrifying events begin to unfold, Ian discovers that the infamous Headless Horseman has returned to haunt the town. With the help of his friends, Ian must uncover the mystery and find a way to stop the Horseman before it's too late.
